My name is Brandon Hill, and I am the Director of Analytics here at UCSD. We have evaluations available this weekend for both pitchers and hitters. Please see the details below.

For Pitchers:

For all pitchers (Pitcher-Only or 2-way players), there is a Pitching Analytics Evaluation available for this upcoming Prospect Camp. This evaluation includes data on each pitch such as velocity, spin rate, spin efficiency, horizontal and vertical break, extension, and release point metrics. This data will be collected during scrimmages using TrackMan and/or Yakkertech tracking systems. It also includes an analysis of each pitch that details the meaning of the data and how the pitch might project in the future.

See example report attached in this email. This pitching report is extremely helpful to refer to when pursuing a pitching development path, and the data can be shown to colleges to display your talent. This report is available for $150 by Venmo, cash, or check payable to Brandon Hill.

For Hitters: 

With Blast Motion we use multiple metrics and tools to provide instant feedback to our hitters. In this report will be your metrics and a little insight to what each means to you, and how you may be able to improve your metric or score. Some of these metrics include bat speed, rotational acceleration, attack angle, plane score, time to contact, etc. All of these are crucial to understanding a hitters' level of performance, and it is a key foundation to creating a development path as a hitter. These metrics take out the guessing when it comes to understanding how you can improve. You can take this information to your hitting coach in order to aid the coach in providing direction.

Here at UCSD, we use this exact data to create custom development plans to improve our own players' performance. Tomorrow we will be providing you the opportunity to attain this data in a report. This report is available for $75 by Venmo, cash, or check payable to Brandon Hill.
